Add multimedia files

Open

To add photos, PDF files (such as BIO certificates or safety certificates), or videos (hosted externally), simply go to the "Multimedia Files" section of your product page.

Then, select the type of multimedia file you wish to add by choosing the corresponding tab: Photo, PDF, or Video.

You can then :

Drag and drop your image/PDF file

Click on the Add an image/ Add a PDF file/ Add a video button

On the Gaia platform, you can only insert the link to your video in the “URL Address (External Hosting)” field.

We recommend that you upload your videos to a cloud service such as Google Drive or OneDrive.

Additional information on multimedia files

Once you’ve added your files, go to the “Descriptive Data” section on the right side of your screen.

Here, you can enhance your images by adding key information, such as:

• Target markets

• Type of information

• Start and end validity dates

• Nature of the file, and much more!

This step ensures optimized file management and better organization.

File reference characteristics

You will also find a section called "Reference Characteristics" under each uploaded file.

This section allows you to easily check the key details of your file, including:

• Definition (in pixels)

• Resolution (in dpi)

• Format (PNG, JPG)

• Weight (in KB)
