Pricing Model and Massive Duplication
How do you link a pricing model to products?
If you are reading this article, you have already created at least one price drop. Here, we'll explain how to link it to your products so that their net purchase price is automatically calculated in Gaia.
This method can be applied to a single product, a group of products, or even your entire catalogue.

Enter the base price and taxes in the product sheets
To save time, we strongly recommend that you enter the base price and taxes for your products in the ‘Prices, taxes and customs’ section of your product files. This information can be added en masse using the bulk update.
1- Base price
2- Taxes
Still in the ‘Prices, taxes and customs’ section, look for the section dedicated to taxes. You must enter the tax or taxes (for example, the eco-packaging tax) applied to your products.
Important: is the tax you enter included in the base price?
If so, this means that it has already been calculated in the base price you indicated above. You do not need to include it in the price list.
If not, this means that it is payable by your customer: it must be included in the Tariff reduction.
Tax included in the base price
You don't need to enter it in the price list.
Tax not included in the base price
You will need to enter the tax in the price list, under PA NET.
Equadis allows you to add it automatically via this message on your product sheet:
Examine the connectors involved and the delivery method
If there is no specific scale wording, a product cannot have two price reductions for the same central office with the same dispatch method (permanent, promotional) and over the same period (with overlapping dates). In this case, Gaia would block the attachment of the second tariff.
Attach a pricing model
Step 1: Access the function via the menu Data > Bulk Tariff Creation
Step 2: Select the price model you wish to link to your products by clicking on its name.
Step 3: Tick all the products that will receive the price drop (the boxes are on the left of the screen).
Use the GTIN, Brand, Internal reference (etc.) fields to better target the products in the list displayed.
Then click on Continue.
Step 4: This takes you to the pricing model application page.
The column displays all the products previously selected, and the price is automatically calculated.
If you have parafiscal taxes that are not included in your product files, click on the Update basic prices and taxes button to display them:
In the example above, the first 2 products have a red box at the base price.
These boxes need to be corrected, so please read the next section of this article.
Step 5: Everything ready? Click on Start Update.
The pricing model is then attached and visible in each product file, in the ‘Prices’ section.
What should I do if I see red boxes?
Some of the boxes in your price list appear in red: this means that the base price has not been entered in the ‘Prices, taxes and customs’ section of the product file.
You need to fill in all the red boxes to link the tariff model to the product. You can do this by hand for each product directly in the boxes.
However, to avoid these red boxes, we recommend that you enter the base price in the product file beforehand, using the massive update if necessary.

What should I do if I've attached a model to products by mistake?
Have you attached a tariff model to certain products not covered by this tariff? Don't panic! You remain in control of your data: as long as you don't send your product sheets to the central offices, they have no view of the information.
First solution: archive or delete the price list. You then return to the initial situation for all products.
Second solution: if only a few products have been selected by mistake, you can remove the tariff directly from the product files, in the Tariffs section.
Make sure you select the correct plant, then click on the 3 points to the right of the Create button. Click on Delete tariff.
